Energy saving and environmental protection are two very important values today, and will become even more so in the future: we are also a systems contractor and we support designers in the essential cost-benefit analysis of every type of solution, in relation to the geographic area, location, ground characteristics, and the function and architectural style of the building.

Italy is a seismic country with a historic and artistic building stock of remarkable value, and restoration work has to come to terms with this reality. As a global company we have the skills to build new in accordance with current technical standards, and to work on existing buildings with a preliminary seismic vulnerability analysis, in order to plan improvement and upgrading works using the most modern technologies.

Project analysis
There is no good building without a good project: at AFELG we approach the building process starting from the analysis of the project, the bill of quantities and the systems solutions, working with the designers to gather all the useful information possible.

Site organisation
Site organisation means drawing up construction drawings for every building element, so that the workforce can carry out the work in precise ways and sequences. The company takes charge of this activity, which ensures that what is built matches what was designed.

Choice of materials
The choice of materials is essential and rests on two cornerstones: deep technical knowledge and constant dialogue with the client to understand all their wishes.

The “rule of the art” protocol
Knowledge, experience and discussion have, over time, built up the AFELG Rule of the Art Protocol, the set of rules underlying execution, known to every worker, young or long-serving.

Quality control
During the works the company carries out its own control of the execution standard. Every significant operation is photographed daily and sent to the technical office, so that every operation carried out can be traced. In this way, if a problem is found, it can be dealt with promptly and precisely.
